AAT Student Stories: Bekki Dowdall | Level 2 and 3 Review

Bekki works as an Office Administrator but wanted to ensure she always had job security into the future with a AAT Level 2 and Level 3 Combined Course in Accounting.  

I’m currently an Office Administrator and I decided to complete the AAT Level 2 and 3 Combined course in the hope to seek future job security and a new qualification in my back pocket. 

I’m primarily Customer Services trained, however there's not many recognisable qualifications in this field. 

I've always supported the accounts departments in every Customer Service role I have worked in, so an accounting qualification seemed like a logical next step for me.

ICS Learn has provided me with an affordable, fully flexible way to gain my qualification - through a handy online portal.

Whenever I have a few hours down time, I'm able to log on and dedicate that time to studies instead, anywhere and for however long.

I also think being able to take time off as you please (within reason) if you're particularly busy one week is really helpful, especially as you're not always going to be able to stick to a rigorous routine while working full-time.

I have never undertaken an online qualification before now and ICS Learn has made me query why I hadn’t sooner.

The whole learning process has been smooth, understandable and well explained through the course guidance, links to reference materials, course learning test, tutor marked tests and mock exams.

My online tutor is always there for support and you can have as much or little interaction with them as you want or need which is great.

Looking to the future, I hope my qualifications will enable me to move permanently into the accounting field and open doors to more opportunities and possibly a higher rate of pay than I’m currently on.
