AAT Student Stories: Michaela | AAT Level 3 Review

Continuing on from my previous story of how I came to study with ICS Learn, here is my 2nd-year tale, and what a year its been!

I successfully finished studying towards my AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate, passing the year with merit! The support from ICS Learn throughout my course was fantastic.

I came from a background working predominantly in production and wanted to achieve my dream of becoming an accountant.

I'm currently working at O’Neill Morgan Solicitors as a Legal Secretary in a busy personal injury department whilst studying towards my AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting.

Working at O’Neill Morgan has allowed me to assist within the accounts department - raising invoices, inputting data on Ledgers, and assisting with Estate Accounts within our wills department all whilst getting a feel for the office environment and growing my confidence.

When I called ICS upon completion of the AAT Foundation Certificate to re-enrol for the next course, I again spoke to Annmarie and she amazingly remembered me and congratulated me on my success!

I felt like a million dollars that day and it's down to this amazing company!

Annmarie advised me that I could enrol on the next two courses to run concurrent and the cost was to be spread over the years. I pay less per month than I was paying before and my dream continues to come to reality and gain momentum!

I'm now respected, and part of a team, and I feel unstoppable… I can now say, “I will become an accountant” instead of “I wish I was an accountant” and it's all thanks to ICS Learn.
