BCS Foundation Certificate in Agile

You don’t need any formal qualifications to take this course.

However, you should have a good understanding of English. If English is your second language, during your exam you’ll be entitled to:

• 25% extra time
• Use your own paper language dictionary

Your course is fully online. 

You'll cover nine units: 

• Why agile?
• Individuals and their interactions over processes and tools 
• Working software over comprehensive documentation 
• Customer collaboration over contract negotiation 
• Responding to change over following a plan 
• The agile mindset 
• Roles in agile teams 
• Common agile practices 
• Agile in practice

You’ll be assessed through one online multiple-choice exam.

You’ll sit your exam online using a proctoring service. This will record your screen and environment to ensure the exam is fair and secure.

In order to sit your proctored exam, you’ll need:

• A desktop computer or laptop (you can’t take the exam on a Chromebook, tablet or smartphone)
• A webcam and microphone (built-in or external)
• Internet speed of at least 2 Mbps
